Center to host a project table at the Dr, Martin Luther King, Jr Day Service Projects & Volunteer Fair in Bethesda, MD. In thinking about the seven cardinal The DeMolay Card Making Table virtues of DeMolay, Nation’s Capital DeMolay planned a project to demonstrate a DeMolay’s Love of Country and adherence to courtesy. They planned and executed a card making project where community members could make cards for veterans in the Veterans’ Administration (VA) hospitals, as well as cards for the infirm and homebound.
As well as serving one another, Nation’s Capital DeMolay was able to set up a booth to talk about like minded volunteers on how to improve the community and to join DeMolay. Nitesh Donti,
Master Councilor of Tenleytown-Chevy Chase Chapter commented that “This is so great! There
are so many people here to make a difference.”
Nitesh was also able to meet Miss Maryland. (who says service doesn’t have perks?) “Dad”
Smith, Executive Officer in our Nation’s Capital was able to talk with the leaders of other volunteer
